Accessing Web Grading:
- Login to myCUinfo

- Ensure the drop-down reflects the correct term, then select the blue “Go to Web Grading” button
- (Please see 1. “Step-by-steps for grading” below for more detailed instructions and visual aids)
Mac USERS – PLEASE READ
- Important: in order to submit an external grade file for web grading, the file must be in a CSV format
- If you are attempting to convert an Excel file into a CSV in order to upload grades, there are going to be either three or four options to choose from when selecting the type of CSV; CSV (comma delimited), CSV (Mac), CSV (MS DOS) or CSV (Windows).
- Professors working with Macs must save the document as CSV (Windows) in order for the file to upload into the web grading grade roster correctly.
How do I know I’ve completed my grades submission?
- Grades are successfully submitted when the grade roster status is posted.
- Once the grade roster action is set to APPROVED and saved, instructors can then select the POST button to post grades to students’ records. We also run a batch posting process every 3 hours for grade rosters that are not yet posted but the status is APPROVED. You will not receive a confirmation email when grades are posted, however, you can check the status of the grades in the roster. Once the status says “Posted”, the grades have successfully been submitted. Please refer to pages 8-9 of the “Using the Faculty Center to enter grades” for additional information.
