Class Lists and Rosters

Class rosters are available via the Web:

  Web Operator
 
  • Class rosters in Web Operator are real-time.

  • "Course prerequisites not met" messages appear if you choose the Display List option and "F" for failed or "P" for passed appears in the last column if you choose the Download option. (For more information on prerequisite checks, see Prerequisite Checks on RostersPDF File Symbol)

  • If you need access to Web Operator (and you already have access to SIS), send an e-mail to Marina Doiel (marina.doiel@colorado.edu) to request Web Operator access.

    If you do NOT have SIS access, you need to review the security and confidentiality rules associated with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, print out a security request form, and send this form to Marina Doiel, Registrar's Office, 20 UCB.

    This information, and a copy of the security request form, can be accessed at http://www.cu.edu/security/users/Form_SIS_Access.doc.

    This information applies to both staff and faculty wanting to access rosters via Web Operator.

  • Getting access to Web Operator takes approximately 48-72 hours.
  CUConnect
 
  • Class roster data in CUConnect is 48 hours old.

  • If a student has passed or failed the prerequisite check, “Passed” or “Failed” appears in the pre-reqs column on the roster. (For more information on prerequisite checks, see Prerequisite Checks on RostersPDF File Symbol)

  • Faculty and TAs need their IdentiKey to log in to CUConnect to view their rosters.

  • Faculty and TAs ALSO need to be listed as the course instructor in SIS (see your department's SIS class scheduling liaison – click here for instructions). This applies to lectures, labs, and recitations. Cross-listed courses are listed separately.

  • It takes approximately 24-48 hours after you've been added as the instructor on SIS for the course(s) in question to be able to view the rosters via CUConnect.

  • You will also need to subscribe to the Faculty Course Toolkit in CUConnect if it isn't found in the Courses tab in order to be able to view your rosters:

    Log into CUConnect, click on Make Changes in the upper right hand corner, click on Add Channel, then Faculty and Staff Tools, then Faculty Course Toolkit - subscribe to this channel, then "Add Channel Here" wherever you want to add it.

  • IMPORTANT - Since access to class rosters in CUConnect is taking 24-48 hours for instructors to get, if you need a copy of your class roster, please contact your department staff liaison who may be able to print a copy of your roster from either SIS (if the course enrollment limit is less than 200 students) or via Web Operator (if they have access to this).
