Degree Audit

Faculty and Staff » Degree Audit

The Degree Audit unit of the registrar's office exists to facilitate the development, enhancement, maintenance, and campus-wide use of the Boulder campus SIS Degree Audit module. This includes working with deans and academic departments to create and maintain audits, advise academic staff on curriculum development and its impact on degree audit programs, and working with deans to establish priorities for system changes to Degree Audit.

  3. As an advisor, where can I access student degree progress reports?
  4. If a student experiences problems with his/her degree audit report, or printing them from PLUS, should we send the students to the Registrar's office?
    • No, the Degree Audit unit of the registrar's office serves as a reference to advisors, not students.  Always refer students to their primary advisor.  If the advisor spots a problem, the advisor should contact the Degree Audit representative within their school or college.
  5. Should a student use his degree progress report to plan his course schedule for the upcoming term?
    • No. Degree progress reports should be used in conjunction with an academic advisor. Please keep in mind that a degree progress report is an advising tool and is in no way meant to take the place of an advisor. Because there are exceptions in many degree programs, it's a good idea to see an advisor on a regular basis.
