Change Your College or Major

To transfer into another CU-Boulder college or school the student must check with the new dean's office for admission criteria and information on enrollment levels, application procedures, and deadlines. The student might not be able to register for some courses until they have been accepted into the new college or school. Once they are accepted, they may change their schedule up until the drop/add deadline. Undergraduate students who have already submitted an IUT (intrauniversity transfer) application should register as if they have been accepted into the new college or school.

To change or declare a major, go to the new major department for the required procedures.

NOTE: If the student is receiving financial aid and is working on two majors (same degree), or a major and a minor and doesn't plan to graduate from both programs at the same time, their financial aid might be affected.
