NOTE: If you are receiving financial aid and are working on two majors (same degree) or a major and a minor and don't plan to graduate from both programs at the same time, your financial aid might be affected. Commencement

Commencement is held twice each year in May and December. The commencement web site has more information about the ceremonies, including dates and times, academic regalia, diplomas, and more. The deadline for inclusion in the commencement program is approximately 6 weeks before the ceremony.

Students should contact their respective major departments or dean's office for degree requirements.

All ceremony information will be posted at http://commencement.colorado.edu approximately 6 weeks before the ceremony.

August Graduates:  For those graduating in August there is no commencement ceremony held. If you wish, you may participate in either the May or December ceremony. Contact your department or dean’s office.

Obtaining Your Diploma

Diplomas are printed and mailed approximately 7 weeks after the commencement date to the diploma mailing address (or home address if no diploma address is on file).
